He is survived by: his wife Betsy Spurlock Newman; his children, Randy "Tub" Newman of Grethel, KY, Jennifer Branham of Harold, KY and Tammy Sturgill (Greg) of Dana, KY.; his grandchildren, Dorvin, Amber, Cody, Zachary and Chase; and his great grandchildren, James Franklin, Dennis, Owen, Oliver, Annslee, Allison, Aubrey, Sadie and Keith Justice.
