It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elder Klinon Newsome of Grethel, Kentucky, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Lee Newsome and Annie Hall Newsome; his son-in-law Steve Jones; and his siblings, Clyde Newsome, Arnold Newsome, Nevaleen Blankenship, Charleen Hoover, Emma Grace Emery, Phyllistine Mitchell and Madeline Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Jean Tuttle Newsome of Prestonsburg; his daughters, Joyce Waikel (John) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Beth Moore of Martin, KY, Delores Jones of Lexington, KY and Tammy Hicks of Lexington, KY; his sister Ruthie Tuttle of Lagrange, IN; his grandchildren, Scott, LaShay, Cory, Austin, Kristen and McKayla; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Ruby, Kawliga and Chloe.
