He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Rogers Howell; his stepchildren, Susan Allen, James Howell and Hazel Howell; his grandchildren, Tashia Chafin, Nicholas Allen, Benjamin Allen, Bryanna Allen and Stephanie Johnson; and his siblings, Arnold Howell, Virgie Yates and Inas Sue Hall.
