He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Orton (Bob) of Indianapolis, IN.; his grandchildren, Bryan Orton (Angela) of Fishers, IN., Mike Orton (Darlia) of Mahomet, IL., Jason Orton (Krista) of Franklin, IN. and Jennifer Miller (Travis) of Bremen; his great grandchildren, Katelynn Beadnell, Haylie Orton, Evan Orton, Brooke Orton, Mason Orton, Allie Beadnell, Eli Orton and Ellie Orton; and his sister-in-law Helen Blackburn Newkirk of Petersburg, IN.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
