He is survived by: his wife Emma Lee Steele Garrett of Greenville; his sons, Marcus Garrett (Martha) of Drakesboro, Robert Wayne Garrett of Central City and Teddy Eugene Garrett of Louisville; his grandchildren, Johnathan Garrett (Gena) of Evansville, Joshua Garrett (Stephanie), Jennifer Phillips (David) of Bremen and Tiffani Logsdon (Corbin) of San Antonio, TX.; his great grandchildren, Noah, Nathaniel Garrett, Raelynn and Gunnar Logsdon; and his siblings, Robert Eugene Garrett (Diane) of Dunmor, Paul Ray Garrett (Cindy) of Madisonville, Wilma Jean Dunlap and Ruby Jane Bibbs of Shepherdsville.
