She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Gossett and Pearlie Gossett; her former husbands, Earnest Miller and Dale Majors Jr.; her daughter Carolyn Fairchild; her son-in-law Orvil Fairchild; and her siblings, Lois Young, Lillian Slaughter, James Gossett and Frank Gossett.
She is survived by: her son Becky Shanks (Duke); her sister Steven Miller (Cindy); and her grandchild Barbara Miller (Bill). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
