He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clarence Thompson and Lillie Mae Thompson; and his siblings, William "Buddy" Thompson, Hollis "Wayne" Thompson, Linda Ruth Morales, Carol Ann Morgan, Steven Dale Thompson and Richard Poer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stacy Kennedy (Mark Self), Tina Bazzano (William), Stephanie Roberts (Lance) and Jamie Penrod (Brian); his grandchildren, Kelsey Bazzano, Camry Morgan, Austin Kennedy, Tyler Thompson (Alle), Kirk Penrod, Rachael Penrod, Memphis Penrod, Chase Penrod and Novalee Roberts; his great grandchildren, McKenzie Morgan of Jerry, Morgan and Asher Hayes; his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Dickerson (Liz) and Terry Thompson (Patty); and his brother-in-law Bobby Morgan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tucker Funeral Home (113 N 3rd St, Central City, KY 42330). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
