He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Mohon Griffin; and his parents, T. L. Griffin and Gladys Griffin. He is survived by: his children, Scott Griffin of New York City, NY., Cindy Rutherford (Mark) of Belton and Melissa Dukes (Lynn) of Brentwood, TN.; his granddaughter Sydney Dukes of Brentwood, TN.; his sister Gerry Ann Bosworth (Larry) of Chattanooga, TN.; and his nephews, Majeed Molavi of Chattanooga, TN., Mehdi Molavi (Julie) of Carmel, IN. and Mahmoud Molavi (Kelley) of Murfreesboro, TN..
The family requests in lieu of sending flowers, donations may be given to the Wounded Warriors Project or a local Hospice Care.
