He was predeceased by: his parents, Billye Mary Rice and Roy Rice, Jr.; his nephew Adam Daniel Curtis; and his father-in-law Luke Robinson. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lauren Cartwright (Thad), Maddie Kinison (Trey), Carver Rice and Sawyer Rice of Greenville; and his great grandchildren, Briggs Cartwright and Henry Cartwright.
