He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Mitchell and Wallace Mitchell; and his siblings, Kevin Mitchell and Linda Cobb. He is survived by: his significant other Robin Bennett; his daughters, Candida Lynn Likens (Jesse) of Greenville and Shirlyn Renea Hess (Richard) of Bowling Green; his stepsons, Daniel Bennett, DJ Bennett and Robert Payne; and his sisters, Shelia Lewis and Debra Dukes (Howard). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Tucker Funeral Home (113 N 3rd St, Central City, KY 42330). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
