It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Powell Countzler of Greenville, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Powell Countzler and Jenny Taylor Countzler; his wife Martha; his daughter Susan Countzler Carey; his son-in-law Brad Carey; his brother Eddie Countzler; and his sister-in-law Mildred Countzler.
He is survived by: his children, John Countzler (Sandy) of Houston, TX. and Anne McKnight (David) of Durham; his granddaughter Beth Morrow (Rodney); his great grandchild Adelaide Morrow of Houston, TX.; his grandson Brian Bradley of Owensboro; his stepmother Nancy Countzler; his sisters, Stacy Countzler Warren of Greenville and Suzie Countzler (Richard Piper) of Greenville; and his caregivers, Ashlee, Joy, Pam, Robin, Sharon and Tammy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
