With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Louise Jenkins of Greenville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2024 at the age of 85. Though Martha Louise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Martha Louise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elgin Lear and Maudie Lucille Crick Lear; and her brother Robert Wayne Lear. She is survived by: her husband James Randolph Jenkins of Greenville, KY; her son James Michael Jenkins of Greenville, KY; her grandchildren, Samantha Jo Jenkins and Myndi Nycole Jenkins; her great grandchildren, Kylor Hayes, Taylee Wilson, Westlyn Hayes and Colter Reneer; and her brother Elgin Earl Lear (Judy) of Greenville, KY..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gary's Funeral Home (405 Hopkinsville St, Greenville, KY 42345). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Cave Springs Cemetery.
