He was predeceased by: his parents, Eula Shultz and Winford T. Willis; his siblings, Robert Lee Hunter, Clara Barnsley and Lena Mae Baker; and his daughter Beverly Hocker.
He is survived by: his wife Clarice Elliott Willis; his children, Pamela Pearson, Lisa Wells and Andrea Willis; his grandchildren, Kendra Smith, Tyra Pearson, Phelan Smith, Phillip Smith, Justin Pearson, Jasmine Wells, Brooklyn Willis and Madison Willis; and his in-laws, Larry Elliott (Ann) and Myra Elliott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
