She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Edward Carnett and Murle Myrtle Sonheaver Carnett; and her siblings, Kathleen Drumm, Mary Patton, Halleen Carnett, Nolen Carnett, Walter Carnett and Bob Carnett.

She is survived by: her husband Herbert Wayne Lear; her children, Cindy Black (Steve) of Harrisburg, IL., Jerry Lear (Penny) of Greenville and Gary Lear (Cara) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Dakota Lear (Jessica) of Greenville, Kayla Lear Murphy (John) of Greenville, Merissa West (Curtis) of Temple, GA., Chase Lear (Sandy) of Temple, GA., Lisa Schiff (Bart) of Harrisburg, IL. and Lori McClusky (Eric) of Harrisburg, IL.; her great grandchildren, McKenzie, Alexis, Lillian, Christina of Greenville, Lexie, Hunter, Cayden, Roxianne, Camden, Madison and Lynlei of Harrisburg, IL.; her siblings, Jeri Delucia of Carrier Mills, IL. and Cecil Carnett of Auburn, IL.; her brother-in-law William Lear of Henderson; and her close friend Lou Williams. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
