He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Edge Sparks and Thelma Cash Sparks; and his sisters, Shirley Rowe and Judith King. He is survived by: his wife Elaine N. Sparks of Greenville; his sons, Nick Sparks (Suzanne) of Greenville and Dr. Brad Sparks (Denise) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Erica Henson (Trae), Dr. Lauren Sparks, Anne-Taylor Beck (Aaron), Graham Sparks and Summer Sparks; his great grandchildren, Eli Henson and River Henson; and his siblings, David Sparks (Karen) of Lexington, KY, Tony Sparks of Madisonville and Sue Wheatley (Mike) of Madisonville.
