It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Mercer of Greenville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 23, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, R. T. Mercer and Mareen Mercer; and his brother Tommy Mercer. He is survived by: his wife Diana Faye Carver Mercer; his children, Brian Mercer (Gail), Brent Mercer (Audrey) and Jerriann Young (Jeff); his grandchildren, Caleb, April, Haley, Sidney and Noah; and his sisters, Wilda McDonald, Linda Steele, Joan Bethel and Frances Davis.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Nebo Cemetery Fund, 71 Henderson Lane, Greenville KY 42345.
