He was predeceased by: his siblings, Myrtle Lofthouse, Lucy Ford, Hazel Webster, George Jernigan, Jewell Jernigan, Roy Jernigan, Gilbert Jernigan, Howard Jernigan, Bobby Jernigan and Gene Jernigan; and his parents, Shell Jernigan and Mable Foley Jernigan.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Jernigan (Donna Brown) of Greenville, Robbi Hill (David) of Greenville, Suzy Duryea (David) of Spring Hill, FL and Rodney Jernigan (Terry) of Cape Coral, FL; his grandchildren, Brittany Hill Branson, Gavin Hill (Ashley), Natalie Fuller (Charlie) and Aaron Jernigan (Anna); his great grandchildren, Nathan, Lane, Quinn Branson, Dylan Hill and Elena Fuller; and his siblings, Janice Grace, Betty Benningfield, Lannie Jernigan and Wendell Jernigan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends who are attending the visitation or funeral service are asked to wear a face mask for the safety of all those in attendance, in accordance with the governor's mandate.
