She was predeceased by: her husband Harold "Bud" Eugene Chapman; her daughter Shirley Vaughn; her sisters, Dorothy Pendley and Verta Mae Durall; and her parents, Claud Wherry and Annie Wherry.
She is survived by: her sons, Harold Chapman (Sandi) of Franklin, TN and Darrell Chapman (Judy) of Ennis; her grandchildren, Kevin Barnhouse, LeAndra Greenwell (Ricky) and Kristy Rainwater (Bryan); her great grandchildren, Morgan Chambliss and Kaylee Greenwell; her great great grandchild Kaleb Baxter; and her sisters, Margie Ray and Wanda Steele. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
