He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice Browning; his son Steve Browning; and his parent Ira "Hutch" Browning. He is survived by: his son Dr. William Browning (Elaine) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Brian Massa of Cincinnati, Scott Massa of Chicago, Matt Browning (Kelley) of Houston, April Jessup (Jeremy) of Browder and Andrea Libe (Tshepo) of Bowling Green; and his sister Lavonne Webster of Greenville. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
