He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan Piper; his parents, Gustava Piper and Estel Piper; his brothers, Ray Piper and James Piper; his children, Cindy Mayes (James), Lana Adcock and Howard; his grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor (Rich), Michael Piper (Amanda), Brian Piper (Chasity), Dustie Richardson (Allen), Chris Nelson and Kevin Nelson (Cindy); and his great grandchildren, Seth Gilbert, Haley "Precious" Piper, Clayton Piper, Lilly Piper, Mack Piper, Tinsley Piper, Zach Taylor and Nick Taylor.
