He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulie E. Hinton and Mabel Grace McKenney Hinton; his wife Alice "Marie" Grace Hinton; and his siblings, H. L. Hinton, Paul J. Hinton, Thurman Hinton and Marjorie Putnam.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Little (Mike), John Hinton (Patty) and Gary Hinton (Melinda); his grandchildren, John W. Hinton, David I. Hinton, Stephen Little, Elizabeth Little Cook, Allison Hinton Shelton, Jacob Hinton, Will Hinton and Abbey Hinton; and his stepgrandchildren, Kristy Koerner, Crew Kemp and Keeler Kemp. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
All participants will be required to wear a face covering and to observe social distances.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
