He was predeceased by: his parent Elzie Ray Jones; and his grandson Dannie Ray Jones, III. He is survived by: his mother Patty Delores Maxwell Jones of Evansville, IN.; his son Dannie Ray Jones, Jr. of Evansville, IN.; and his brother David Lee Jones of Evansville, IN.. He is also survived by 3 aunts and 1 uncle.
