He is survived by: his wife Lori Clemons Meister; his children, Jennifer Scott of Greenville and Josh Meister of Greenville; his grandchildren, Ben Scott, Clara Meister and Kamden Meister; and his brothers, Fred Meister (Helen) and John Meister (Rose). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
