She was predeceased by: her father Amos Vanover; her former husband Joseph H. Stephenson; her husband David A. Slone; her children, Cheryl Hanners and Ray Slone; her brother Sol Vanover; and her son-in-law Georg Ford.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Joel Stephenson (Pam) of Lexington, David Slone of Hebron, Donna Yates (Bill) of Ashland, Barbara Ford of Aztec, Teri Sturgill of Ashland and Melanie Kersey (Sam) of Jesup. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
