She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Babe Shepherd and Louisa Hicks; her daughter Jacqueline Prater; and her brothers, Arnold E. Shepherd (Suzy), Alton Moore (Irene) and Calvin Shepherd (Pam).
She is survived by: her husband Billie Joe; her daughters, Sharon Prater Hambrick (Mike) and Tina Prater Ward (Terrance); and her siblings, Charles R. Shepherd, Wanda Wicker (Melvin) and Bonnie Shortridge (Larry).
In lieu of flowers, for her love of children and not standing a child to do without their needs, donations may be made in Thelma's honor to your local school's FRYSC.
