She was predeceased by: her parents, John West and Elaine Wehr Dolch; her former husbands, Thomas Rice, Ray Fleurry and Jack Gibson; her sons, Allen Melzer and Ocea Rice; her siblings, Ron Sigai, Elaine Dolch, Mary Shearer and Lorraine Sanchez; and her granddaughter Charlene Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Rice Jr. (Susan) of Maumee, John Melzer (Brenda) of Baltimore, Maryland and Linda Hays (Roy) of Rush Kentucky; her grandchildren, James "Mike" Meadows (Lori), Erica Hays, Olivia Hays Legg (Austin), Emily Hays, Rachel Williams (Matthew), Michelle Rucker (Jesse), Nicholai Rice and Katerina Rice; and her great grandchildren, Amalie Meadows, Violet Meadows, Malachi Legg, Holland Legg, Hollard Legg, Amelia Lott, Olivia Lott, Glynn Rucker, Charlotte Rucker, Daniel Rucker and Cierra Sanai.
