He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Cartee and Grace Fields Cartee; and his siblings, Russell Elwood Cartee, Katheryn Secrest and Betty Keen.
He is survived by: his wife Diane G. Cartee (Caudill); his daughter-in-law Vicki Cartee (Nagel); his grandchildren, Chelsea Cartee and Reagan Cartee; and his brother William Franklin Cartee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins extended family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Ron and Diane Cartee Family Scholarship Endowment at Morehead State University.
