He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Fred and Marie Hirschberg Nutz. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Jo Howard Nutz; his children, Rick Nutz of Fairfax, IA, Dr. Joseph Nutz Jr. (Petra Nutz) of Durham, NC, Debbie Brunelle McDonald (Coit) of Jasper, GA and Cindy Morgan (Bill) of Goodlettsville, TN; his grandchildren, Matthew Nutz (Nicole), Staci Wozniak (Dan), Dr. Steven Nutz (Alanna Nutz), Jessie Nutz, Eric Nutz, Bryson Nutz, Benton Nutz, Rachel Brunelle-Rhodes (John), Amanda Brunelle, Kelson Brunelle, Brittany Morgan, Amber Reeves (Tim) and Kay Leigh Morgan; his great grandchildren, Kyleigh Brooke Reeves, Nate Nutz and Nellie Nutz; and his nephews, Ronnie Jenson and Ricky LaFollette.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bellefonte Memorial Gardens (700 Red Devil Ln, Russell, KY 41169).
