He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jane Riffe Wilburn; his children, Matthew Thomas Wilburn of Ashland and Madalyn Lucille (May Wilburn); and his brother Travis Johnson of Greenup. He is also survived by several other siblings, numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
