She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Porter and Stella Porter; her husband Raleigh James; her children, Galliehue Campbell (Ruby) and Vickie Butler (Joe); and her siblings, Robert Porter, Glen Porter and Gladys Chuba.
She is survived by: her daughter Bettina Schroeder; her grandchildren, Angie Campbell, Chrissy Nation (Wendell), Eric Schroeder (Emily), Jamie Butler, Brandon Schroeder (Sara) and Kevin Schroeder; and her great grandchildren, Jaden, Trevor, Hunter, Tori and Raylan.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Homes - Dixie Highway (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McGuire Cemetery (1005 McGuire Cemetery Rd, Greenup, KY 41144).
