She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Thurman and Annie Lee Harris Riggins. She is survived by: her daughters, Missy Brown (Hillard) of Lloyd and Joanna Hurn (Jason) of Ashland, Kentucky; her brothers, Tom Riggins (Jean) of Garner and Carl Riggins of Benton, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Ashley Brown, Aaron Brown, Kayley Hurn-Barto (Tim) and Kaitlyn Hurn; her great grandchild Estil Barto; and her close friend Robin Guthrie of St Albans. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
