He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sue Callihan Rister; his children, Donald E. Rister (LeighAnn) of Minford and Kristine Rister Willis of Greenup; his grandchildren, Stephen Rister, Shelby Rister Murnahan (Chase), Sidney Rister, Jordan Willis and Kelsie Willis (Nick Ashley); his great grandchildren, Jackson Rister, Silas Rister and Leland Murnahan; and his siblings, Melvin W. Rister Jr. of Lexington and Norma Stevens (Clifford) of Georgetown, KY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, his neighbors and friends.
