He is survived by: his wife Debra Rayburn Patton; his daughters, Dana Ashley (Randy) of Danleyton and Deanna Thornsberry (Wade) of Raceland, Kentucky; his brother Eddy Joe Patton (Sonja) of Eden; his grandchildren, Brandi Ashley, Dustin Ashley, Christian, Trevor and Cameron Thornsberry; his niece Denise Leadingham; and his cousin Connie Garvin.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Reed Funeral Home (612 Main St, Greenup, KY 41144). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
