With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bert Hamilton of Greenup, Kentucky, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Watt Isaac Hamilton and Josephine Potter Barney. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Criswell Hamilton; his children, Kris Hamilton (Leah) of Miriam, Virginia and Elizabeth Carroll (Sean) of Durham; his siblings, Joe Hamilton and Dottie Schoder; his siblings-in-law, Diane Johnson of Huntington, Larry Criswell (Geanie) of Boyd County and Gary Criswell of Duncan, Oklahoma; and his close friends, Keith Garvin of Flatwoods, Homer Delawder of Flatwoods and Harley Rayburn. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
