He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil "Teetle" Simpson and Alline Milby Simpson; his siblings, Nathan Lee Simpson, Charlie Simpson and Shirley Blackwood; and his brothers-in-law, Butch Jewell and Doyle N. Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Bastin Simpson of Greensburg; his daughters, Stacy Lynn (Tony Wood Skaggs) and Sarah Lynee' (Jeremy W. Dial); his grandchildren, Addi Marie Skaggs and Daylee Brooke Skaggs; his sisters, Willow Dean Jewell, Elaine Bishop and Mitzi (Rendell Heath); and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Simpson, Lanny Bastin and Lee Blackwood. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church of the Nolynn Association, which can be made at the funeral home.
