He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. William Clarence and Stella Pauline Wright Bonta; his wife Dorothy Pickett Bonta; his son William Kenneth Bonta; and his siblings, Marilyn, Joyce Simpson and Bill Bonta.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra; his son-in-law Tony Fuqua of Bowling Green; his brother Rev. Wilburn; his sister-in-law Connie Bonta; his sister Savada Arnett; his siblings-in-law, Homer (Brenda Simpson), Alicia Bonta of Greensburg and Joni Jeffries of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Jordan (Kaylee Fuqua) and Abigail Fuqua; and his great grandchild Elliana Fuqua. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home (209 W Court St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home (209 W Court St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at the Calendar Ladies Chapel Cemetery (5493 KY-88, Greensburg, KY 42743).
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
