He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Montgomery and Mattie Perry Montgomery; and his siblings, Harold Montgomery, B. J. Montgomery, Joyce Burchett and Gladys Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Alan Montgomery; his daughter-in-law Linda of Campbellsville; his daughter Suzanne Sallee; his son-in-law Tim of Louisville; his sister Carol Sue Ferguson; his brother-in-law Gary of Greensburg; his brother James Montgomery; and his sister-in-law Karen of Campbellsville. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; plus, a host of other relatives and friends.
