He was predeceased by: his father William Lee Jewell; his wife Helen Louise Brown Jewell; his sister Carolyn Jewell Milby; and his grandson Jacob Allen Jewell. He is survived by: his children, Rev. Leslie Jewell (Vicky) of Greensburg, KY, Matt Jewell (Lucretia) of Glasgow, KY and Sherry Jewell Russell (Jake) of Florida; his grandchildren, Megan Lee (Brad), Misty Jewell, Christie Reeves and Cara Grider (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Weston Lee, Liam Lee, Connor Bumpus, Blaze Bumpus, Azariah Jewell, Zachary Jewell, Joseph Matney, Gracie Matney, Leland Reeves and Michael Cortie.
