With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Sue Hazelwood Carter of Greensburg, Kentucky, who passed away on October 7, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Arthur Perkins and Hazel Pauline Hazelwood Perkins; her daughter-in-law Jenny Carter; her brothers, Joe Perkins and Lonzie Perkins; and her sister-in-law Denice Perkins.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Carter of Greensburg; her son Eric; her daughter-in-law Michele Carter of Greensburg; her daughters, Tammy Sue (Marty Jeffries) and Donna Michelle (Bobby Benningfield); her brothers, Russell (Joann Perkins) and James (Brenda Perkins); and her grandchildren, Jessica, Danielle, Krystal, Corey, Natalie, Emily, Nathan, Halie, Cassie, Bobby Joe, Jr., Amber and Ashley. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Memorial Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
