It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Thomas Altman (Greensburg, Kentucky), who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Altman and Edna Noe Altman; his wife Euna Mathis Hall Altman; his grandson Payton Altman; and his siblings, Lib Altman, Sybil Milby and Joseph Altman.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory (Sonda Altman) of Green County and Ricky Altman of Green County; his granddaughters, Brandy (Jason Tucker) and Megan (Curry); his great grandchildren, Jake Tucker (BayLee Allen) of Summersville, Griffin Fields of Gabe and Owen Curry of Gabe; his brothers, Ray (Marilyn Altman) and Robbie (Elaine Altman); and his brother-in-law Ray Hall of Campbellsville. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donations to the Payton Altman Scholarship Fund or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
