It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valerie Lynn Pierce of Greensburg, Kentucky, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Joseph Nelson Posey and Shirley Temple Posey Kelly. She is survived by: her husband Alton "Junior" Pierce; her daughter Marsha Lynnette; her son-in-law Greg Roy of Columbia; her son Jason Matthew; her daughter-in-law Michelle Pierce of Campbellsville; and her grandchildren, Heather Blankenship (Trent) of Jamestown, Anthony Blankenship (Cayela) of Columbia, Alexa Pierce of Campbellsville, Emily Kelly (Brandon) of Springfield, Brandon Pierce of Campbellsville and Jared Roy (Cory) of Jamestown. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Family Memorial Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
