He is survived by: his son Matthew Hammer (Keisha) of Glasgow; his grandchildren, Josiah, Alayna, Hanyah, Gabriella and Cali Hammer; his siblings, Larry Graves (Anna Faye) of Tompkinsville, Karen Paul (Artie) of Louisville, James Wendell Graves (Sherry) of Cookeville, Joseph Neal Graves (Donna) of Louisville and Ticey Graves of Tompkinsville; and his sister-in-law Marla K Graves Williams of Cookeville.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Milltown Baptist Church (251 Madison St, Tompkinsville, KY 42167).
