Shelby Jean Bennett Moore Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2025, at the age of 88, Shelby Jean Bennett Moore of Greensburg, Kentucky passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shelby Jean Bennett Moore to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband William C. "Bill" Moore; and her siblings, Opal Wright, Beulah Quinn, Frances Knopp, Mae Bell and Lawrence Hunt.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Eugene Janes), Pam (Tony Compton) and Troy; her daughter-in-law Jenni Moore of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Jo Janes), Robbie (Amanda Janes), Benjamin (Jessica Compton), Chasity Moore, Shelby (Christian Goodin), Sam Moore and Grant Karnes; and her sister-in-law Lillian Moore. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home (206 S Main St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at the Liberty Separate Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
