He was predeceased by: his parents, Verman Cook Ennis and Virgie Alice Trowbridge Ennis; his sister Peggy Sue Ennis; and his great-nephew Myles Coomer. He is survived by: his wife Norma O. Houk Ennis of Green County; his stepdaughters, Karen Blevins Overstreet (Mitch) of Campbellsville and Kim Blevins (Michael Johnson) of Campbellsville; his sister Phyllis Ennis Coomer; his brother-in-law Kevin Coomer of Knob Lick; his grandchildren, Daniel Stearman (Amy Todd) of Campbellsville, Alex Blakeman of Ohio, Gabrielle Naylor (Christian) of Russell Springs and Molly Pyles of Bowling Green; his great grandchild Rosemary Naylor; and his nieces and nephews, Cory Coomer (Christina) of Knob Lick, Lindsey Coomer Cox (Cody) of Knob Lick and Jase. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Center Cemetery Fund, Russell Creek Missionary Baptist Church, or St. Jude Children's Hospital which can be made at the funeral home.
