He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leon Ferguson and Virginia Louise Kraft Ferguson; and his siblings, Ronald Ferguson, Floyd Ferguson and Lori Michelle Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Robertson Ferguson of Greensburg; his daughters, Angie (Mike Price) and Hilary (Eddie Sharpe); his grandchildren, Alex (Katelyn Price) of Greensburg, Maylee Price (Lukas Brown) of Greensburg, Chase Sharpe of Greensburg and Nolan Sharpe of Greensburg; his great grandchild Karson Price; his siblings, Phyllis McDonald of Indiana, Jerry Ferguson of Missouri and Gary Lee Ferguson of Munfordville; and his siblings-in-law, Elwood of Greensburg, Virginia Robertson of Greensburg, Freddie of Greensburg, Regina Robertson of Greensburg, Gary and Sharon Robertson of Campbellsville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home (206 S Main St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A masonic service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Macedonia Cemetery.
Masonic Rite services for Robert Ferguson will be conducted at 6:00 P.M., Central Time, Monday evening at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home conducted by the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM. (All Master Masons are to meet at the lodge at 5:00 P.M.) The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Macedonia Cemetery Fund or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
