With solemn reverence, we commemorate Rita Rogers Houk (Greensburg, Kentucky), whose life came to an end on March 24, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvist Rogers and Maerine Patterson Rogers; her spouse Donnie Odell Houk; and her sister Donalds Rogers. She is survived by: her son Timothy; her daughter-in-law Deanna Houk; her pet Cave; and her grandchildren, David Jacoby, Jeffrey Kennedy, Aspen Eimen and Kaula Terry. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home (206 S Main St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at the Lee Cemetery.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Lee Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
