She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. O'Banion and Othel Robertson O'Banion; her husband Woodrow Cook; and her sister Carolyn Jean Moran. She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Burnestine Cook Benningfield of Elk Horn and Judy Cook of Greensburg; and her niece Nancy Ray (Arvin) of Green County. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home (206 S Main St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at the New Salem Cemetery.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the New Salem Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
