He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Milby Ervin. He is survived by: his children, Pam of Green County, Patrick Avery of Green County, Tammy of Green County, Jonathon Pannell of Green County, Thomas of Green County and Megan Ervin of Green County; his grandchildren, Allye Matney, John-Connor Pannell, Lily Ervin, Harrison Pannell and Lynnon Ervin; and his siblings, Barbara (Frankie Young), Eva (Doyle Edwards), Lisa (Kerry Jeffries), Larry (Nellie Ervin), Gill (Jennie Lou Ervin), Terry Ervin and Tommy Abner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Little Barren Separate Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Little Barren Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the church or the funeral home.
