He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Baker Mills and Alice Rachel Rogers Mills; his father-in-law H. H. Durham; and his nephew Eric Bradley. He is survived by: his wife Terry Lynn Durham Mills of Greensburg; his son Matt; his daughter-in-law Amanda Mills; his grandchildren, Kimber Thompson (Jordan) and Ella Mills; his great grandchild Silas Thompson; his mother-in-law Ina Dee Durham; his brother Larry of Greensburg; his sister-in-law Nancy Mills of Greensburg; his sister Patsy Morrison of Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Ann H. Durham, Ralph Cook of Greensburg and Mark Durham of Lexington. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Forever Green River, Greensburg Presbyterian Church, or the Hosparus of Green River which can be made at the church or the funeral home.
