He is survived by: his parents, John Kafton and Patty Kafton of Green County; his wife Loretta Lynn Logsdon Hart of Greensburg; his children, Nathan (Cassandra Rayburn), Joshua Philpot (Kayla Hartell), Daryl (Angel Rayburn), Jerimiah Rayburn (Judy Robertson) and Jennifer Philpot (Brandon Bailey); and his sister Jessie Mairer of North Carolina. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home (206 S Main St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Walthall Cemetery.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the family memorial fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
